Minimum User-Entry 

 

PERKS ensures that, the user has to enter minimum data for payroll generation and leave calculation. For instance, commissions do not have to be calculated prior to entry in PERKS. You just need to define the formula for commission calculation, and store it. Every month, all you have to enter is the sales figures for each salesman; the commission amount is calculated, automatically. The CPF payable on the commission is, also, automatically, calculated.

Multiple Currency Payroll 

 

PERKS handles payroll in Multi Currency, seamlessly. You may pay the salary in Base Currency (say, Singapore dollars) and other allowances in some other currency, say US Dollars, or still even overseas allowance in Japanese Yen. Calculation of all these allowances are done by the system without manual computation.

Complete Leave Applications and Calculations

 

PERKS handles all aspects of leave, totally automatically. At the month end, all you have to do is to enter the dates on which an employee was absent under the respective category of leave; PERKS, automatically, generates the payroll from there, carrying forward the balance leave. You may create any number of leave categories (Annual, Medical, Privilege, Causal, etc), and define, whether or not, these Leaves lapse after a certain period, or are encashable. You may, also track Leave Applications, including granted / rejected.

Human Resource Management 

 

PERKS allows you to keep all your HR-related data within different Cabinets and Folders. You can create unlimited number of Cabinets and Folders, and keep the information, like training, confirmation appraisals and so on. User defined fields from employee master can also be inserted into these cabinets & folders and different reports can be generated to get these information.

Integration with FACT

 

You do not need to re-enter the payroll entries into your accounts package any more, if you use FACT. PERKS seamlessly integrates with FACT, and posts all the payroll entries, including Deductions, CPF payable, Division Code, Department Code, etc., automatically. No additional entries are to be made at all. You can relate each individual Payment Heads with a General Ledger Code in FACT. If you roll back the Payroll generation, the posting from FACT is, also, automatically, rolled back.

Complete Employee Records

 

PERKS is more than just a payroll package. It stores complete employee records, including a scanned photograph for each of your employees. Each employee can be tracked from the date of joining till the last day at work, online. You may, even, generate the Appointment Letter, Appraisal Letters, Termination Letters, etc., from within PERKS. Do away with all your worries on Complete Visa, Labour Card, and Passport Management. Further, you may add fields to the Employee Master for any special requirements of your Company, which can be used to generate custom reports.

Import and Export of Employee Master and Leave Data

Integrated Backup and Restoration of Data

 

PERKS comes with an integrated system of Data Backup and Restore. When data is maintained in your Hard Disk, it is imperative to have a backup for the same. The data backup may be restored back on to the Hard Disk, again, without any fuss. In addition, the Compressed Data Backup facility is an value addition to the Data Backup feature. A Compressed Backup is much like a Compressed Archive (for instance, a conventional zip file), and occupies lesser disk space in comparison to a uncompressed data backup. The new feature, therefore, is expected to come in good use, especially during backups of huge volume of data.

Statutory Board Requirements – CPF and IRAS Compliance

 

PERKS is registered with the CPF Board (Singapore). The computation of CPF contributions for various age groups and categories are done automatically in PERKS according to CPF Board rules. Likewise, PERKS meets IRAS requirements and all other statutory board requirements like CDAC, MBMF, SINDA, ECF, FWL and SDL.

To add punch to your reports, use the built-in flexible Report Writer. Besides the statutory reports, viz. CPF Returns, IR8A and Monthly Payslips, Payroll Sheets and other Standard Management Reports, you may design your very own reports. Not only does PERKS generate the Payroll of your employees in a jiffy, it, also, has an automated Report engine to generate the Payslips in the form of Reports.
